I didn’t think Shula did to bad with all the sanctions and all. Of course my experience till then was Bill Curry, Gene Stallings (just won with Curry’s recruits), DuBose and Franchionne. I was too young to remember watching Bear. Stallings went 7-5 his first year with "Curry's recruits"; he won the Championship 2 years later after he cleaned things up
