The firing thread got me thinking about workplace injury. Why would a boss know he's got to spend to fix a problem piece of equipment and jank and go it? Saw a picker put his harness on and get 5 feet off ground and arm fail didn't hurt him just scared. Equipment pulled out of service and "looked over" two days later same thing this time though a maintenance supervisor actually did the right thing and new picker replaced old one because it was unfixable. Then upper management complains about having to replace equipment. Bad management is more damaging to companies than bad workers.
