I’ve got to know JWalker a little though this site. You won’t talk to him often that he don’t mention the Lord. Testimony like that is an encourager for all of us.

Wow! We have a perfect leader but we have to release the reins and get our spurs out of his sides to follow him effectively. Sounds like you've got follow the leader down pretty good JW. As long as you continue to follow Christ you can be a fit spiritual leader for your family. Keep up the good works and congrats on getting your life on track.

Made my evening writing it. Me and the Lord had some happytime sitting in the shooting house this evening. Just sat there and squalled for a while. Couldnt have seen a deer if there had been one there. Good times.

Some of what you say made me think of some things my Mom told me way back when. She said son - Who ever you choose to marry - I can promise you one thing - it will be work and sometimes hard work. She said don’t marry just for looks (I use to date just for that reason) she said cause one day you probably both b ugly when u grow old and it won’t last. She said find a best friend that is a Christian like you - best friends hv a bettr chance at making it. Looking back - she was pretty accurate
It ain’t always been easy 😀 but I too am blessed way more than I deserve
