My wife had hers done robotic, and her knee is a Zimmer. Doc said robot is better alignment and spacing, and typically has a smaller incision.
Therapy, as said before, sucks, but is necessary. She is doing very well.
Based on her issues and mine with my hip replacement, don't wait any longer than you have to wait. Recovery isn't fun, but we both had lower pain levels almost immediately.
