Had mine done 8 months ago with the robotic one and I get around good on it but still have tightness and some pain. Doc said it may be a full year before it feels normal again. One thing that they don't say much about is that the incision severs the nerves in the skin and on the outside side of the incision your skin may be numb and stay that way. I have about a 5 inch patch of skin that is numb, having a hard time getting used to it, and Doc says you should not kneel on a replaced knee, which makes it tough to field dress a buck. Ended up putting them up on the tailgate to do it standing up. Be prepared for a lot of pain after the surgery. Mine hurt like a sob for a few months especially during pt. Mine is still not perfect but better than before when it was ate up with arthritis. I am 57 and the doc said i waited too long to have it replaced. Good luck.
