We had a lady at work get one. She is our tech assistant/secretary for our group. She complained as soon as she came out of surgery that it didn't feel right. They told her it was normal. They ended up having to amputate her leg above the knee. She's probably 50 and fairly overweight.
My best friend Skip is in his 70's, and he's had both knees replaced and both went well. He gets around amazingly well considering he's almost 80 now. He has a hip replacement too.
