Just curious why you want a 8pt or better club. I’ve seen plenty of mature bucks never get to that size and plenty of 2.5 yr old 8s shot but having to let a 5 yr old 4,5,6,7pt walk. Not meaning to derail your post just curious.

We have a family farm in Ohio and I see a lot bigger deer there and before you say it I have hunted Alabama my whole life and understand the difference in Ohio deer and Alabama deer. I have 150 and 160 inch class deer on my wall and it’s just a personal decision for me .

You missed his point. He's saying that a 2.5yr old can be an 8pt and taken in an 8pt or better club lol. Has nothing to do with what you have killed in the past. So with that
said, the 2.5-year-old or 3.5 yr old 8pt is still immature

You can't base maturity of of a deer of his rack. I've got pics of a 3 pt that weighs roughly 250lbs

I don’t know if you’re gonna be a member of an 8 point or better hunting club, but I’ll bet that you’re a member of Buckmasters by now after posting your phone number. 🤣
