Just curious why you want a 8pt or better club. I’ve seen plenty of mature bucks never get to that size and plenty of 2.5 yr old 8s shot but having to let a 5 yr old 4,5,6,7pt walk. Not meaning to derail your post just curious.

We have a family farm in Ohio and I see a lot bigger deer there and before you say it I have hunted Alabama my whole life and understand the difference in Ohio deer and Alabama deer. I have 150 and 160 inch class deer on my wall and it’s just a personal decision for me .

Has nothing to do with what you have killed in the past. So with that said, the 2.5-year-old or 3.5 yr old 8pt is still immature
