I saw a big 8 driving in an hour before daylight.
I saw a 10pt that would probably go 140 standing in the middle of Stonewall road outside Opelika on the way home. I could’ve killed it, but I’m not a poacher. Man it was an awesome looking deer.
Saw 1 unidentifiable deer in 5 hours sitting in a tree and saw 2 good deer driving.

Hope you’re feeling better today jwalker I am, thank you. My throat feels much better. I helped Joseph drag his deer about 50yds, went to falkville and back, and me and the boy just went and did a little tree job. That's more than ive done in several days. I think the worst is behind me. The cold air dont even seem to be bothering me

Great buck JW !! My son had an ortho appt at 0830 so we sat until about 0810 - I saw several does and a good 8. He saw what he said was a shooter but couldnt get on him in the clear cut - said the deer was probably still there when he had to climb down .......got to the ortho and they tell us they cant see patients today because of the techs being out sick (thanks for the call to cancel). He got a little red in the face when he realized he could have sat and most likely seen more deer. I guess we are done until Saturday morning since he has baseball every day!! Good luck to all the hunters - should be more pics coming soon as many as im getting on camera today.
