Jay has taken a pretty good beating on here from folks, including me. But i don't think he's a bad guy. Tough situation and he's been burned bad in the past by this first wife. He has put himself in a very bad situation with this incident just by being there, which could only mean he has been following or stalking her. Very possible that the press account of what happened are what Sara wants the press to report to benefit her on the divorce. She's been in this situation before...
Still, Jay should have NEVER put himself in this situation.

Still, Jay should have NEVER put himself in this situation. Barker is guilty of three things. 1. Being a homer, which is no crime and is understandable. 2. Being P-whipped, again no crime, but it led to 3. Following her around possibly being a stalker and losing his cool which did lead to a possible crime. If she didn't already have an Order of Protection, she certainly will now, which means no firearms for him and will ruin hunting season, if he hunts.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The Biggest thing Barker is guilty of is thinking he's relevant in some way.... when in reality he was a mediocre at best QB on a Natty team from nearly 30 years ago. Bama has won what? 47 more Natty's since then? I don't know how many Twitter followers he's got but sounds like most of y'all or friends with him on Facebook so you are feeding the beast making the guy think he's a celebrity.
He'll be fine he can do some commercials for Tameron Honda or something after Sarah cuts him off.

Unless I’m mistaken, when they crammed a mike in Jay’s face after they won the Natty…he said something to the effect of if we humble ourselves, in His time God will lift us up so that He may be exalted…and I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all of this.
Jay ain’t perfect, but until I tell a couple hundred million folks about Jesus in a humble way, I won’t be throwing any rocks at him.
I hope they can get it worked out as best as possible considering all of the circumstances.
