Yesterday I walked out into a 60+ acre clear cut that was harvested this summer. About 30 yards off a road that runs through the middle of the cutover was about a dozen grains of corn in a spot about 4” in diameter. They were pale like they had been soaked, but with the weather I guess they were.

How did they get there ? Several hundred yards from any property line and no tracks from humans. There are a coutof feeders on the property but again, no where close to the site.

Any chance a deer or other animal puked the corn up ?
