I left 13 does feeding in a moonlit field around 6:00. Hard to believe not one buck was out there messing with them.

Saw 11 doe and two spikes this morning. Let a nice symmetric 8 pt 3.5 yr old and a 3.5 yr old 6 point with a crazy thick rack walk this afternoon and 5 does. I am trying to hold out for 4.5’s but it’s hard lol I have my Uncle and a guest hunting this week so they may die yet.All the bucks today were nose down and cruising. Had another 3.5 yr old 7 point yesterday est in a greenfield for 20 minutes then walked within 20 feet of two does he completely ignored.Crazy but it’s gonna bust loose soon.

We ended up right at dark with a 4pt, 8pt, and a doe eating together under the feeder. Bumping uglies was on no one’s mind. The two bucks were hanging out like old drinking buddies. I have seen more action on a Friends’ rerun. Congrats to all the killers!!!

Ole Stephen done seen more deer than I’ve seen in a few years 15 years I’ve owned this place and thankfully the neighbors have gotten better except shooting every buck they see. And there are only a few of them now.
