Cool thread and congratulations! I’m assuming you are keeping the boat anchored out in deeper water and using the canoe to shuttle to the beach?
We actually used the boat to bring everything across, put it back on the trailer, and came back across on the canoe. That way we didn’t have to worry about the boat blowing away or getting beached.
