We do need to discuss the Phil Army Jinx that he put on the tide with smack talking and posting a game thread 4 days before the game. Like it or not I think you out the hoodoo on em Phil. If Bama makes it into the playoffs next year, I’ll ban him for 45 days once the teams are announced. The Ban 🔨 seems to be swinging these days...

They have absolutely no sense of reality when it comes to Alabama/auburn. Just about anybody could have seen this coming. It was a down year for college football all together. I believe we watched the best two teams play last night. If they played again, it could turn out different. But neither of those two teams last night were great by any means.

I posted this in the CFB Playoff thread back on Jan 1 when Phil was already starting the trash talk and downing GA: "I wouldn’t get too overly confident there Phil. Stetson made several really nice throws, and did a really good job of pushing the ball downfield, and also took off and ran the ball well too. He looked pretty solid with only one stupid decision/throw that I saw. IMO, Georgia has played much more consistently than Bama has this year. Bama better bring their “a” game if they want the same result as last time. Any drop off in the level of play by Bama and I think Georgia can win it." Unfortunately, Bama did not bring their "A" game and Georgia showed up to play.

I'm a Bama fan and hate we lost,but I had a hard time not pulling for Stetson last night. I work in Ga and all the fans blame him for not winning. He impressed me last night. I also think it's gonna be hard to not put Bama at the top next year with all of the players returning

I haven’t watched ball of any sorts the last few years until this year. Grew up a Tide fan, cuz was a linebacker in the 90’s, uncle was a coach all over the SEC. Had more family graduate form AU than anywhere. I’ll pull for the state of Alabama before anyone then SEC after that. I didn’t want Jimbo to beat Saban for dang sure. I was hoping Kirby would be the first one in that long list. The guy followed Saban around college, pro, and probably around town. Won several Natty’s together. Why in the hell wouldn’t Saban be smiling and laughing during the handshake? Kirby prolly knows more about him than any of the others. Hell I’d be proud of him, if I was Saban. Just my $0.02…fans acting stupid is the sole reason I slacked from watching. Congrats dawgs
