Is it myth or truth. Ever seen a side of a rack come off after being short or trailing. My customer mentioned above said being run down(malnourished) or an injury(infection) is the main two reasons they drop early Northern genetics affect this as well as they shed earlier. Some indication bucks that have had EHD shed earlier, this maybe related to being run down as well. It takes some hormone release to start the shedding process though so not sure how accurate all of this is.
