Had a public land 10pt come right along the brush pile I was hiding behind. He got within 10 yards, but busted me before I got a clean shot. I'm going to be thinking about that one for a long time.

I had great hunt - had 6 doe in field - had my head down a minute r so - look up and one of the deer I want to shoot most was 15 yards into field and walkin toward me- fed for maybe 2 sec - facing me in center section of field which has clump tree between deer and me - i on him instantly and know he shooter instantly - no shot - he does lip curl and flush does out that quick - maybe lasted 6-7 seconds - 40 min befor dark felt decent about seeing him again - did not š - I donāt think he a shoulder mount be he prob b my first scull mount - looked bigger in person - he is 7 point missing a brow and he has an acorn point - be lucky to see him again - at dark - something to my right snorted - smelled me - I am guessing it was him circling sent checking for does - good hunt anyway - dang I hate not closing deal You were looking on ALDeer, werenāt you? š¤¦āāļøš¤£

Ended up seeing 9 does and littleuns this evening. Watched them feed for over an hour from 30 to less than a hundred yards. Not a horn amongst the.

Wife and I were headed home tonight from Coosa Cleaver in wetumpka and Bozemanās had a line of trucks waiting to drop off deer. They killed 8 deer this afternoon at my club. Waiting on confirmation on what size. Helluva time to be sick and both atv and Ranger in shop.

Good deer starting to chase in Clarke - starting earlier than I expected - my cam showed chasing last night from one of my more mature deer - then I had a good deer chasing in my field this evening - they starting to do it

Well went crawled up in the shooting house with the wife for a afternoon hunt. And about 4 o'clock momma done lowered the boom on a call buck we have had running around. Thats her second deer ever I am proud for her

Maybe by next weekend but traditionally ours seems to be the last week of Jan on into Feb
