Here is a message his wife, Kim, put out:
"The past few weeks haven’t been easy. Brandon’s body has been fighting so hard, but it just can’t catch up. Wednesday we saw his oncologist and learned he is now in liver failure. The doctor has stopped all chemotherapy and hospice has been called to help keep him comfortable.
He is still in good spirits, but understandably exhausted. Please pray for comfort, peace, and a clear mind as we spend this time together. Big prayers for his girls for comfort and strength now and in the many days to come.
Also, we know we serve a mighty God who is capable of miracles. We are happy with prayers for Him to show out, as well.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

My heart hurts for you, your friend and his family, as each of you travel down this road and situation.

Those girls, especially one, spend an awful lot of time at my house. They are putting on a hard face to keep there emotions from showing and staying strong. The young boy they just had, probably won’t get to see what a good father he had, but he’ll hear about it. He’s just too young to have those memories. Such a good family all the way around and the whole town is just beat down over this.

Prayers sent. That’s what we went through with my mom a few months ago. She fought it hard, but her body just gave out and her liver started failing.
