Strong cold front yesterday now a shifting wind (gonna be south east here this evening) good ol Bama weather lol. I'm in the stand we'll see. There was a two giants seen yesterday just off the main rd at 1pm feeding, apparently they didn't get the memo, because big mature deer aren't supposed to do that sort of stuff 😁

Super quiet this morning before daylight. I had to go 250 yards from where I parked the boat and climb. It took me over 2 hours to do that quietly with a climber on my back through uncut soybeans and into a bottom, and I still wasn’t as quiet as I wanted to be. I heard 2 different Bucks grunting and pushing does on either side of me in the fields before daylight so I must’ve been quiet enough. We shall see

Just getting in stand in Clarke county - let a doe and little one feed off before I got to stand
Wind is trying to switch and says light and variable late day - this field had 3 racks In It yesterday morning - one was pretty good - hav not hunted this stand since Nov- hope we don’t get the switcher wind today
Prime feeding time says 1-3 today - wonder if deer will pay any attention to that 😀 - it was a little earlier than that yesterday
Good luck guys - deer I shot in Camden stunk bad yesterday- could smell him 10 yards from him when I walked up on him
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

I had everything loaded up and ready to go to Paint Rock Valley this morning and Marshall County Schools decided to delay schools for 3 hours so I'm on kid duty this morning instead. Gonna head to my ladder stand on a greenfield here at the house this afternoon. Good luck to everyone who is in the woods this morning.

First time anyone has sat here this year. Got too sweaty getting up this tree but this frozen solid treestand seat is cooling me down real nice. Im sitting a api grand slam. Ill have to say i like climbing my old man better but this api sits good. Looks like a fine day to kill a deer. We'll see. Good luck fellas
