On a cold January afternoon what would you consider the most important thing to take with you on an afternoon hunt ? Cause I had everything else in my backpack when I got to my son’s land . The good thing is it’s only 4.5 miles from my house . If you guessed your gun you are correct ! A mind is a terrible thing to lose for sure ; getting old sucks !

Had thought about heading to the cabin late yesterday but the river was too high. One of my oldest friends were camping. Crawled up in my stand early and killed a 200lb 7 point. I still can't get in and they can't get out. Was his second biggest buck and first one he has killed I'm 14 years. 👍🏻👍🏻

Present on a saddle in at Clair co. They moved heavy this morning and #1 on the hit list made a showing at 65. Came and went like a ghost. Low light, snow and heavy winds contributed to me not getting a shot. Back in same spot hoping this cold gets him up early. Good luck all.

I've got 8 does and little deer in my GF right now and there is a 4 point and a spike running the does all over the place. No big boy here yet. Have seen 13 deer so far since getting back in at 1:30.
