I have a 10 point mounted that scored 146-5/8" gross and netted 144-1/8" after 90 days drying period. He has a double white throat patch. Don't know if there is any truth to it but I was told that it is a characteristic of a Northern strain of deer that was stocked in Alabama back in the 50's. I believe the guy that told me that said they came from Michigan or Missouri, I can't remember which state he said.
