Good luck men! They moving. Seen a dead 4pt on Taylor road across from Synovus bank this morning. He’s a long way from any cover. I have no idea how he ended up there. CNC said coyotes Lack of weeds.

Glad my deer don't read Aldeer, had a great am hunt. Early movement in the snow, only way it could have been better would have been kill a big un.

Took a good buddy hunting and he killed a 9 on me this Am. Just cleaned it and I’m back hunting now. Not huge but he was happy! It’s dead calm here now. Wind is gone

Just had confirmation that my cell cam is still froze over with a layer of ice on the lens. Reading a balmy 34 degrees, probably won't thaw out for a day or two. Bad time to be relying on camera info as when to hunt. I'm going tomorrow

Back out for the afternoon. Sent Stephen and my buddy out to check a camera while I took care of some paper work. I made it less than 50 yds without my rifle of course and jump a nice buck. It’s always something
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Doesnt show up in a picture that well but the Mississippi is about 350ft lower than my stand. Not comfortable on a day with a north wind but a nice view. Hope a big horned deer strolls by. (that is for all you antler lovers out there). ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/vmvrBs1S/KIMG0138.jpg)

Got down at 11:30, got me some coffee and a couple of deer burritos for lunch. Back in stand at 1:30 for the afternoon hunt. Only saw the 5 this morning I mentioned in previous post.
