Anyone finding any 308 or 30-06 anywhere in the state on the shelf? I haven’t seen a box of either anywhere in over a year.

I think I’ve got a box of Core Lokt 30-06 165 grain I’d part with if you need some. I’d take $30 as I believe that’s what I paid for em.

A buddy saw some 308 and 7mmRem Sunday at Bass Pro in Pearl (MS), but no 150gr or 165gr.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Walker I got a few boxes of 150 grain .308 I will sell you for what I paid for em if you’re in need. Thanks I have plenty of 308 but running low on 30-06. I remember that video Remington put out in the summer about ramping up production yet haven’t seen any.

I've picked up a couple boxes of 30-06 at both academy and Walmart in the past couple of months.
Pick up a box or 2 of each in the Norma Whitetail line and give them a try.

I have seen them on the shelf in a local gun shop, but you better bring a bag of gold with you. They had the polymer tips, so it’s the new line. They had 243’s (disappeared quickly at $50+ per box), 308’s (150 grain at $60+ per box), and 30-06’s (150 grains at $70+ per box). Saw folks carrying them out at those prices.

I hav seen the corelocks on line around $45-50 on line after shipping tonite
I bought Norma 308 150 grain tonite for $46 out the door and shipped to me - prob not the cheapest but I got it

Lot of other good if not better ammo out there. Just have to try other brands or some independent brands.

I’m not out and appreciate the offers to help. I just haven’t seen a box on a shelf in a year and a half around here. I’m wondering are they getting them and selling out or are they not getting them at all. The two Walmart’s that are within driving distance never have anything when I’m there which isn’t often.

I went to the pawn shop in Monroeville yesterday and he had some 7-08 ELDX for almost $70/box. He told me that it’s almost impossible to get 7-08 Ammo and when is does they are crazy high and he was only making a couple bucks per box. That’s just crazy!!! All the other ammo was priced pretty fair.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
