Closest I got to seeing a deer was getting blown at from behind me.
My daughter, in a ground blind, had an 8 yard encounter with 2 deer.
And I got to see a young lady get her first deer.
I must be getting old. Didn't see a thing, but had one of the best hunts of the year.

Thanks, everyone!!! It’s still pretty surreal that he FINALLY stepped out after hunting that stand for all those hours. It’s like seeing a ghost when it finally happens!!!
I’m not one to get hung up on a deer’s score, but I wanted to know if he was my biggest. He grossed 134 2/8” and is within an inch or so of my best. I still can’t believe I got him!!!
