Closest I got to seeing a deer was getting blown at from behind me.
My daughter, in a ground blind, had an 8 yard encounter with 2 deer.
And I got to see a young lady get her first deer.
I must be getting old. Didn't see a thing, but had one of the best hunts of the year.
