Bought a knife from a maker in Vermont years ago (Kingdom Knives) and has been the best knife I’ve ever owned Holds a edge through many uses and the sharpening system I bought with it is second to none
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

I like Knives of Alaska "Muskrat". But I like the convenience of the Outdoor Edge "Razorlite", no sharpening just put a new/cheap blade on.

I had a Spyderco Bill Moran fixed blade I really liked. Unfortunately , it went "missing". I think someone else liked it more.

Benchmade mostly, but the outdoor edge with replacement blades I got is pretty good. Got a custom made damascus a friend made that I can't wait to try out.
