Congrats broadhead ! Back at it behind my house 🏡 bil grandson killed his 2nd deer , a doe out of this field a week ago , so maybe everything has calmed back down . Watching a crossing where I’ve watched a lot of deer move on our farm . Several bucks over the years run their does here . I just need one hot doe to help me out ! 🙏

I’m sitting in a ground blind at the intersection of two roads where I’ve had a corn pile going since September. I’ve got my bow and gun, but really hoping I can get a decent buck with my bow…a 4 point and 2 year old 6 point came by about 3:15

No more deer for me…one of my target bucks was at the corn pile 45 minutes after dark. Maybe he’ll slip up and come by me in the daylight one of these days lol

Daughter killed a 3 yr old spike at 3pm, we drove in put my dog out to find the deer and changed the camera batteries, loaded the deer etc left at 4 and had two 4 yr olds on the cam by 5:15

They were moving today in Marion County. Yesterday too. Rut is kicking in. Had over 20 new scrapes blow up on the fields behind my house.
Seeing some chasing , grunting and trailing from younger bucks . Should be getting good from here out .

Rut done and over in my area. Older deer are tired and night feeding. Younger bucks won’t even look at a doe. Season about over for me
