I love my Nikon Monarch scopes, but I'm probably going to move towards the lower magnification of the 1.75-6x32mm available in the Leupold VX-3. I definitely need less than 3x magnification at the low-end, and I've never cranked a scope beyond 5x.

Kahles 3x12x56 I have been hunting with this scope over 35 years and it is ugly, but it has always worked flawlessly.

This season I will top my Rem 700 RMEF 300 Win Mag SS 24" Barrel with a Matte Black Burris Fullield II Ballistiplex 3-9x50. My kids got me a new Nikon Range finder and I intend to drop Mr. Saggy Horns this season as he eluded 4 members of the club this past season. As best I could tell he was a 12+ point sway back and I know where he lives *V*

I have the cheapest possible Bushnell 3-9x40 that came on my Remington model 710 out of the box. Works pretty good for me.

Nightforce 3.5x15x56 on Browning A-Bolt 270WSM While we're on the subject, I would like to give to Nightforce's Customer Service! Two years ago my 7 yr old scope would not hold a sight so I shipped it to Nightforce HQ in Idaho with a letter explaining the problem. Within a week I received a call from them saying I had a Point of Impact Shift and they were going to completely replace the guts of my scope at no charge. Two weeks later I received my scope along with a check covering my original shipping cost. In addition, they sent a copy of my Lifetime Warranty and a letter stating that if I had any additional problems with current scope to call immediately and they would send me a brand new scope no questions. Meopta Meostar 3x12x56 on Browning BAR ShortTrac 308 Just purchased and have only shot at range, but it's a fine shooting rig. Can't wait to test it out!!

A G5 peep sight magnified to 1.75. Just like reading glasses. Makes my pins clear.

Pentax Lightseeker 2.5x10x50 & 3x9x43 (probably the best bang for the buck) I will put them against any Leuopold or Nikon.
