Nope. Parent needs to here for children 18 and under. They don't have to hunt with the parent in the same stand, but we prefer them to be in proximity. Liability.
There is no way I'd let an adult child hunt for free without the parent here, and he would need to pay a guest fee. Or he can pay dues if you have a spot.
This isn't about youth hunting, it's about getting over.
