To literally every woman on the planet:

If you think it's hot in the house because it's mid-summer and the A/C is already actively running pretty much around the clock, turning the thermostat down even lower is not going to make it any cooler....

Dude. If Mr. or Mrs. Irish catches you in their cabin, I don’t think it’ll be good. At all.

""The most important factor that increases the likelihood of a deer moving in daylight hours is temperature. Basically, the colder the weather is, the better your odds will be for seeing deer."

Temp #1 predictor of movent in AL study

I also agree with this theory... but during the rut.. I don't think it matters that much. Outside of the rut... its a big factor... in my opinion.

The deer cannot take off their winter coat as we can. Heat definitely has an effect.

That's my wife. If you turn the thermostat down 5 degrees even though it's below the room temperature, it will cool the house faster.

Yup. My wife turns the heat on downstairs and the air conditioner on upstairs. I'm surprised I dont have tornadoes spinning around in the kitchen.

My brother does not understand how air conditioning works. He thinks turning the temp down to 60 an the truck will cool it faster than at 68 in a hot day. Same as in the house. He just bought a new 2 story house and if had to explain that the upstairs thermostat needed to be set a couple degrees higher than downstairs.

For my 2019 Chevy, that is 100% true. Unlike the house where the a/c is an all or nothing option, the truck will blow air the temperature shown on the thermostat.

If you get in the truck in a 100 degree day it will not cool off the interior any faster if the temp control is set to 60 or 68. If it is set to 60 it will eventually cool to that temp but it will not reduce the temperature any faster from 100 to 68.

I plead guilty with the toilet paper. I swear I have a brown magic marker on my ass. Wife and I are just the opposite on this one.

ellipsis:
An ellipsis (plural: ellipses) is a series of - in our case and typically - 3 dots that usually indicates an intentional omission of a word, sentence, or whole section from a text without altering its original meaning

Overuse of periods is common and isn’t an ellipsis (singular) or ellipses (plural).
