If you think it's hot in the house because it's mid-summer and the A/C is already actively running pretty much around the clock, turning the thermostat down even lower is not going to make it any cooler....

A feller don’t need corn to kill a pine goat or TSS to kill a turkey.
Spot on....and I'd add no need for "custom" ammo or $$$ rifles. Just lost BCLC on that one 🤭 I know, that one was for fun...but true

1. To all the left lane campers: If you are in the left lane and you are not passing the person in the right lane, then get over there with them, and stay the hell out of the left lane.
2. To my brother Dean: Yes it is a "Hot Water Heater." Unless the water it is heating is at Absolute Zero, then technically it is a "Hot Water Heater."
3. To Mrs. Irish. I use maybe 10 pieces of toilet paper a day. You on the other hand use about 30 basketball sized poofs of the stuff. So why is it that I am always the one changing out the roll?
4. If I can hear Bad Company playing over your motorcycle speakers 2 miles away from you up on the mountain. You, your motorcycle, and your music are all assholes.
#3 Drives me nuts having to change out the roll every day or 2...  What do they do with all that toilet paper?...

1. If a gun has a single barrel, but only holds and fires one shot at a time, it is a single SHOT, not a single BARREL. 99.999% of all guns in existence are single barrels. A single shot, semi-auto, full auto, or pump are all single barrels.
2. Your kid shooting a deer is pretty cool, but it's not "what it's all about". Besides, you did all the work, they just shot a firearm, and shooting a deer is no special kind of accomplishment (just look at any of the Facebook hunting pages).
3. Clumped deer poop is not "buck turds". It's indicative of their diet, or that they were recently bedded.
4. Temperature has ZERO connection to, or affect on deer. It is not "too hot" for deer movement or the rut.
5. We are not in danger of "losing the sport if we don't recruit the next generation". Will never happen, Chicken Little. Frankly we have WAY too many people hunting.
I disagree with everything.

The deer cannot take off their winter coat as we can. Heat definitely has an effect.

He thinks turning the temp down to 60 an the truck will cool it faster than at 68 in a hot day. Same as in the house. He just bought a new 2 story house and if had to explain that the upstairs thermostat needed to be set a couple degrees higher than downstairs.

My brother does not understand how air conditioning works. He thinks turning the temp down to 60 an the truck will cool it faster than at 68 in a hot day. For my 2019 Chevy, that is 100% true. Unlike the house where the a/c is an all or nothing option, the truck will blow air the temperature shown on the thermostat.

My brother does not understand how air conditioning works. He thinks turning the temp down to 60 an the truck will cool it faster than at 68 in a hot day. For my 2019 Chevy, that is 100% true. Unlike the house where the a/c is an all or nothing option, the truck will blow air the temperature shown on the thermostat. If you get in the truck in a 100 degree day it will not cool off the interior any faster if the temp control is set to 60 or 68. If it is set to 60 it will eventually cool to that temp but it will not reduce the temperature any faster from 100 to 68.
