No doubt Johnny was a better college QB than Bo, but having 6'-5" receivers who could leap out of the stadium bailed Johnny out of some bad decisions on many occasions.


Mike Evans caught 1100 yards worth of Johnny's 3700+ passing yards the year he won the Heisman. He was 3rd on the team with a whopping 5 td catches. He also ran for zero of Johnny's 1400+ rushing yards that same year.

Behind Evans, he had a white guy possession receiver, then a lot of absolute nobodies.

Johnny Manziel was an absolute stud at A&M....without a lot of help around him.
