He’s probably not getting the Oregon job. Chip Kelly is getting it and going home.
I would not blame Harsin for leaving. Oregon has unlimited money from Nike. Auburn is paying former coaches 80 million dollars, but I doubt he gets the job.
Auburn is never going to be anything. Lsu , Arkansas, a and m, ole miss, None will be anything as long as Alabama gets the top recruits.
You can’t out heart and out coach genetics and DNA. It’s mathematically impossible.
All the stuff your high school coach told you about heart and how big the fight is in the dog matter more than the dog in the fight, that’s all coach speak and lies in today’s game.
Saban has proved , he who has the most 5 stars can overcome any coaching, play calling or error deficiency 99.999999999999% of the time against any opponent or situation. As long as he is getting the 5 stars nothing any other coach does is going to matter. That depth and genetic makeup can’t be beat with any tool in the shed consistently. You could take his players and put them on any other team with just about any other coach and the end result would be the same.
