I do however agree with Troy - that's a 1.5 year old but he'll eat good.

I suppose by you saying that, that you're managing for higher scoring, "pretty" typical antlers? I guess it depends on what you're managing for but 1.5 year old bucks, in general terms of deer mgrs/biologists regarding mgmt, should be given a year or two more years before such decisions are made to eliminate the buck out of the herd based on what the deer mgr is looking for.
Especially up there in KY, if you are making harvest decisions based on antler size or configuration, most biologists would suggest delaying your buck harvest decisions past 1.5 yr olds.
No cracking on your buck cause if you're happy, I'm happy!
You can always go back to KY during the rut and film bucks chasing. KY's a great deer hunting state. I get a ton of fun from filming big bucks chasing does after I've limited out.
