Deadwood, your must be another guitar player? Ratt or Van Halen tuning? Or slide tunings? I use to play it all, right handed which is strange. Could be a banjo (my Earl Scruggs book has those tunings in it), could be other country instruments, that is, D tuning.

The gun doesn't know left or right. It just does what it's supposed to do.

^^^^^^^LOL. You right handers push the safety, us left handers have to pull the safety. You right handers get the shell kicked out of the way, us left handers get the shell thrown in front of our face and near or on our arm..

I've shot a couple of deer left handed with a scoped rifle, no problem. Never shot a turkey last handed.

I did learn to shoot a compound bow left handed one year. I can't shoot a recurve left handed to save my life.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I practice left hand shooting, actually pretty good at it. Have never killed one shooting lefty though.

I'm right handed and I can't shoot worth a crap left handed. I do kick left footed though.

I’m left handed, but play golf right handed.

I can hit a baseball from either side. I shoot a rifle left handed , but all my guns are right handed. I am just about blind in my right eye , but I have killed a few deer and coyotes right handed with a scope. All were close shots though.

I’ve had to let many turkey walk that got by too far to my left. No way I could shoot one with my bad eye.

Amphibious?

He's ambiguous too.

We need a mod to add amphibious to his tag line.

Look up the NBA basketball player Kevin shackelford. He was being interviewed and said “ I be amphibious, I can dribble to my left or right. “”.

I’ve done it a few times. It also costed me a nice deer a few years ago.

I’m left eye dominant but shoot right handed. My distance vision started slipping a few years ago so I would wear a real low power contact in my left eye only. That way I could still see a little up close with my right eye and definitely see distance better. Well I was in a ladder stand in some thinned pines during the rut and a doe came in on my 3 o’clock with a shooter behind her. She had me pegged and he was locked in on her. No way for me to get turned on her so I eased my gun to my left shoulder. When I looked through the scope with my left eye at the buck, not only was he not clear but he was way smaller and looked like he was 200 yards away when he was really only about 70.

I kept trying to make it work but it was a no go. Well the doe finally had enough and spun and ran away and he followed her. The next year I used both contacts and adjusted the bell on my scope to account for contact lens. Problem solved.

Never tried it on deer but one morning at gun school they put our dominant arm in a medical sling making it unusable and sent us to go solve the problems for two hours. Some of the most creative problem solving and straight cussing ensued.

I've always trained weak side and when I had shoulder surgery it paid off tremendously

Just takes me a little longer to get lined up left handed. Just put the cross hairs where you want it to go and let it rip.

I couldn't kill a deer shooting right handed if I had all day to pull it off.

I am right eye dominate, but left handed. I can shoot shot guns either way, but prefer right handed. I shoot rifles mostly right handed, but truth is, I shoot em just as bad either way.

Same problem over here. When I was young I had (maybe I still have?) amblyopia. I wore a patch over my "good eye" all through 1st and 2nd grade to make my "bad eye" work, but now I'm cross eye dominant. When I try to shoot with both eyes open it's like they compete for dominance. I have shot a few deer left handed, even though I'm right handed. Funny thing is they let me fly in the Marines. Eye dominance never had any impact on me flying. They about shucks a brick when I told them I had amblyopia though. Lots of eye tests.

Since nobody has mentioned this style of shooting, my step father was an absolute UNIT when it came to shooting skeet. He would show off and shoot with the shotgun behind his back. True story. Damndest thing I ever saw.

Several times over the years. Killed the deer every time but cut my eyebrow twice with the scope because I did not get locked in right. I bled as much as the deer.
