Keep it in the back of the truck when I drive to the club. I’ve noticed it fogs worse when the gun and scope is warm from sitting in the truck.

I hunt with good optics but I still leave my rifle in truck or on porch during deer season...

You want your scope to be the same temp (or close) as the ambient air. How you do that is up to you.

Inside or outside of the scope. Internal fogging is a seal issue. External fogging can happen on about any scope if you breathe warm moist air onto a cold scope.

I agree, I was wondering whether kleen vu or other potions were used with any success.

In my case it's my breath that seems to cause it to fog. Thanks!

I've heard of that, never tried it. Also heard Kleer vu is good as well. Might give it a shot. Thanks

We use to rub a cut potato on our diving mask to help with fogging.
