I would not argue the fact that Hoyt has some of the best limbs in the industry. The fact is that cables, cams, and strings will not hold up to dry fires. Hoyt doesn't even make that claim. I like Hoyt bows and have owned a few as well as Mathews. Now I just happen to shoot Elite. It just gets stale hearing my bow is better than your bow. Bottom line is that there are several great bow companies but from time to time they all have problems.
