I have shot most of the newer bows the last few years. My personal preference is Hoyt, because they are smooth, very quiet, and tough as nails. They go through rigorous limb tests that most other bow manufacturers do not. I've been shooting Hoyt for 8 years now. I'm currently sticking with the Hoyt Vectrix. You may like another breed for some other reason. Like others said, go shoot several, but you'll come back to Hoyt.
