Thanks yall. I spooked him walking in to my stand and by the time he stopped running and gave me a chance to do a quick range on him, I let the ol' 45-70 fly. It was a pass through, enteted in front of the left shoulder and exited behind right shoulder. Lungs were liquified but I did get the heart and liver which I love to eat.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Finally tagged a buck out here after moving from Texas around 6 years ago, I've shot a few doe but never had a chance at a decent buck. 180 yards out and hammered with my 45-70, not a bad 8 point. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/IRzfWWx.jpg) nice
