You should probably expect to strike out. May want to focus on sight seeing. I hear the park is nice this time of year.

With water going down it will be a challenge to fish from the bank there. I guess this is the KOA at Mallard Creek. If so, I would ride on down to Spring Creek. Usually can catch something around the bridge when pulling water

Any white bass hitting around there? We caught a couple today Supposed to go out with a friend tomorrow below the dam. I know people don't really target them but I love taking my fly rod out while they are biting. Some of the most fun I have fishing.

Winter pool coming early. The river itself is way below normal winter levels, if there is anything as normal winter levels. I don't keep up with how much rain we get during the winter but they just said on the weather that this is the 16th driest November on record. Guess that's why it's so low.

I know, I feel terrible about both. I'm afraid that I'm offensive to snowflakes. Such is my life.

Living in Decatur for 30 of my 37 years the river is lower than I’ve ever seen it pulled this time of year. There’s places on Hwy 20 where the river bottom is exposed they’ve pulled it so much. Don’t understand why they went so extreme this year.

There were rocks sticking up out of the river that I had never seen before.
Also there were no fish. None. Everyone go hunt now.
