If any of you get ground deer sausage from your processor this is a must try. I have made these many of times to take to the farm on work days for breakfast (everyone loved them).
Ground Deer Sausage
Cream Cheese
Crescent Rolls
Brown deer sausage and drain. Mix in browned meat and cream cheese (usually 1 lb. meat to 1 16oz cream cheese) in bowl. I usually cook a lot of these at a time so I normally guess at that mixture. Roll out crescent rolls as one complete sheet (do not tear along perferated lines). Take meat and cream cheese mixture and spread over crescent rolls. Roll mixture and crescent rolls long ways. Cut in 1/2 in. increments, lay on cooking sheet, and place in over till rolls are done (use cooking directions on crescent roll package or until brown)

I found some "solid" crescent rolls at Publix. I think it was pilsbury, but words nice with no perforations. I will be trying your recipe soon, thanks.
