I put a deposit down today on a truck that I am interested in, just to give me first crack at it and keep it from getting dealer transferred before I can see it. Times are crazy. Supposedly the truck is built, but no timeline on when it will be shipped. Same here. This one is supposed to be delivered first week of Dec then I can decide if I want to follow thru on buying after I see it. Crazy thing is I’ll only be paying $6k out of pocket to go from a paid off 2018 to a paid off 2022. There are some differences but it just shows how much they are valuing the trade ins too. And they are practically begging me not to sell mine in my own between now and then. Who are you dealing with? I have a paid off 2018 GMC with 42k.. 4x4.. loaded. I am thinking about trading it in on a new one.
