My 2016 F150 with a 3.5 Ecoboost has been flawless. I have 154,000 miles on it and have owned it since new. I have not tuned it and done any performance upgrades, so that may be in my favor. You'll hear and read about timing chain and cam phaser issues on them, but I haven't had it on mine. I drive it sanely and don't abuse it, and maintain it properly. I am not planning on getting rid of it any time soon either. Same here. Just gave my 16 to my son last March when he turned 16. I wouldn’t have let him have the truck if it had the stock size tires. It was a rocket ship (for a truck) that way. I added a 2” leveling kit and 295/70-18 Coopers which slowed it down a fair amount. Love it. It’ll SMOKE a 5.0 in performance or towing imho. I’d buy another in a heartbeat. If it craps a turbo or throttle body I’ll fix it. So far so good. Haven’t had ANY trouble with the truck.
