Going in after another buck tomorrow. He’s a bigger buck but the same number of tines so we won’t get a bump in points if I get him. Heading to upper state soa a week from Thursday though so I’m hoping to stack some does up there.

Found em on public…had a spike at 5 yds, a small 6 at 20 I was going to shoot but he winded me and then 4 does that were coming on the same trail that I spooked when I was looking for my keys on the ground 😂 just got word that my good spots for gun hunting have 4 sho nuff shooters at the Mississippi River lease and 2 absolute studs on the other property…150” is not out of the question with these spots as a 184” was killed by the neighbor and guy I’m hunting with killed a 165” last year. Fingers crossed I can cross paths with one!

Zeroed the .308 with Sig BDX system this morning and pulled out a ground blind to air out before its placed in the woods. The next step is putting up my tree stand in a different area and let the Hornady fly.

Spent all morning looking for a big 9 point that my buddy shot, called the dog and the dog did what he was supposed to do, we came to the conclusion that it was a non fatal hit
