Finally pulled the trigger on a Ghost. Put down $400 and going to get it installed Monday morning. And I am still sick to my stomach... I can't believe I'm spending this kind of money on a trolling motor. I could go on an extended European vacation for what I have in this trolling motor.
This is the only thing in my 21 years of marriage I am not telling my wife what it costs.

I wouldn’t tell her either. Great purchase though. Been wanting on myself just can’t pull the trigger. Let us know if it’s worth the coin

If all you’ve had in the past is a regular cable steer trolling motor, you’re about to be blown away. You’ll be so amazed that it’ll make the purchase pain a good bit less.

If all you’ve had in the past is a regular cable steer trolling motor, you’re about to be blown away. You’ll be so amazed that it’ll make the purchase pain a good bit less. I hope so... all my fishing buddies said to just get it... if you don't you will wish you did. So will see. Probably wont use it much until after deer season.

Fishing and hunting buddy’s will get you in trouble. Trust me. $3200 for a trolling motor is not for me.

Yeah, I have been fighting the urge to get a Garmin Force to go with my finders. I'm tired of anchors but $3G might keep me chunking them.

I got the Ghost... picked it up today and it looks sweet. What really happened was a guy at work got Covid and died.... he was my age and no known medical problems... I said F*uk IT... you only live once. I got the Ghost.
