In the early 90s I was offered a job as a superintendent at the Shoshone mine in Carbon Co Wy. 12’ face longwall operation with some really clean coal. Money was rolling out of that place. There was a lot of talk about union/non union at the time. I walked from the offer and glad I did for many reasons but, this thread closes any doubt that might have crept in my mind from time to time.
