That could be misconstrued as a reference to a Beatles lyric.....I wouldn’t recommend that. Trust me.

I’m not sure and don’t really care but I’ve heard it said that Blackrock was formed so the UMWA could manage its own 401k, if that’s true then wouldn’t that make the miners the primary “rich investors”. Just asking

Stupid? Because I understand that those investment companies that own Warrior Met don't represent the same interests of the coal miners in Brookwood?

Ask yourself why those mines on strike and production is far below that of normal operation if the owners share the same interests as the miners. The union didn't have to tell me that. I educated myself by working for them and seeing how my interests weren't the same as theirs.

Their interest was making money. Their managers' interest was getting that money at my expense if they could get away with it. Work in the boots of a union coal miner and educate yourself like I did and then tell me I'm stupid.

You need to go back an re read what I typed. You don’t have a grasp of how things work. Not only does this make you look ignorant but it paints you as a far left democrat as well. Most of which, like yourself, cannot argue your points with any merit. (Union Good Everything Else is Bad) doesn’t hold water.

Probably a reference to the union's 5 day work week. Since we're just making crap up, it must have taken Josh's non-union coal mine 8 days to outproduce what Brookwood union miners accomplished in 5 days.

Where's your proof that non-union coal miners in Brookwood outproduce union coal miners in Brookwood, Josh? Let's compare apples to apples.

Is it really so hard to support hard working miners who are demanding their fair share against the incredible odds of getting it?

A fair share is what they agreed to work for when they took the job
A fair share is what they could make if they took another job because they had a better opportunity
A fair is also where you go to play games and ride rides and escape reality for a short period of time

A fair share is not what they can hold a company hostage for or try to

OK, I went back and read it again. I still stand by my response if you want to read it again.

I'm not a democrat at all, much less a far left one, and I don't like republican either. They're a lot farther left than I'm comfortable with. Talk to the union reps that I was involved with and you'll find that I was like a burr under their saddle most of the time for expecting them to toe the mark.

I don't know what brand of paint you use, but you need to change brands. Its leading you to make false assumptions.

Eddie has learned to actually post without copy and paste. Those of you who have never engaged in debate with him will grow tired long before he does. He's an encyclopedia of knowledge on state game and firearm laws but when it comes to anything labor related he's going to use his own set of "facts" . He's a conservative on many issues but a full blown socialist when it comes to business and labor.

The Brookwood coal miners and the company representatives they bargain with during negotiations at the bargaining table will determine what the acceptable "fair share" means to them.

You and I have no business telling them what the meaning is. Can we agree on that?

Again reading comp skills. My CLOSEST buddy is running cable to a power center right this second, they are doing a major air change. My argument was not pro union nor pro company. What I said was unions don’t always take into account certain things. I’ve seen the vote with my own eyes. They work a dangerous job, so do any number of employees in various industries all over this country. Sone the mines in South America are a lot worse than anything you will find here 😂😂. But there’s a point where everybody has to make money, it’s a constant struggle. Management is always a asking for 5-10% more and the employees are doing the same. The “government increases” though have been exponential. IMO the unions don’t take this into account. Again you can absolutely verify what I just typed by looking at contract negotiations everywhere.

Listen. Im not trying to be an ass and I’m not pulling this data from my ass either. All I was trying to tell you is don’t get sucked into one side. They (UMWA) is going to tell you what THEY want you to hear. And a little research says they really don’t have your best interest either.
