I hope #3 gets a lot richer , that helps me and a lot more commoners . Several mutual fund / retirement planing brokerages in there . I grew up in a union house , my dad was blessed , I am blessed and am non union . I don’t think it’s a one size fits all thing . At one time unions did a lot of good in my opinion ( especially in the early days ) and still can . That being said it’s a lot like other things discussed here , if it’s for u and what’s best for your family go for it , if it’s not and you have more options that are better or different go for that . I know of a plant right now that is non union but because of ppl leaving over pay the last couple of years ( started pre virus ) got about 35% raise in said time . I wish them the best I really do but I also want to see the company do well or those jobs will be lost . Hopefully they will come to a fair compromise for everyone .
