We got the camp stand, grave stand, little power line, big power line, church house, cottonwood, blue tarp, the hole, the point, shotgun, luxury, pallet, Doris’s, Cecil’s, the T, beer drinker, 17, 17A, the middle road, my creek bottom, Louis’s creek bottom, David’s house, Dr’s place, big hill, the west clearing, the X, the big Magnolia, the cedar tree, loading decks 1&2, and the Arctic Circle. I’m sure I’m forgetting something.

I got in a hunting club one time and the first stand I went and got in had "Homo Hut" written across the inside of the shooting house.......true story.

If you don’t have a “Big Tater” and a “Lil Tater,” do you even have plots?!
I preferred numbered plots and named stand areas. Our last lease which is now public land was all numbers on fields but #12 was always Pude’s hill, in reverence to a long deceased founding member. Turkey foot, narrow gap, figure 8, natural bridge… lots of ways to describe an area by geographical features.

Gun Hunt Tree! I had a 110-acre lease in Waterloo Alabama that was inside the WMA. Every gun hunt I killed a deer with a bow from that tree when the WMA hunters started walking to the truck. Killed some pretty nice deer there over the years until Forever Wild took it over. Never been back.
I can't stand a thief.

When we drove up to the farm, he pointed to a big tall pecan tree on a point that stuck out in a bean field. I walked to the big tree and as I got closer I started looking for the stand. When I got to the tree I found a few big nail driven in the tree. I started following the nails with my eyes and saw that there was only nails where the branches were to far apart to climb. I finally located the stand which was about a 15” 1x6 cypress board wedged in the fork of the tree about 35-40’ up. Needless to say I just stood next to the tree till dark.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

The bumper stand (old car bumper in woods), the love shack (found condom in it), the shat house (found shat in it), the fence row, Jordan Hare stand (never see any deer there, put Auburn guest there), The hornet nest (hornets in it).
