shall not apply to guests.....it doesn't say a damn thing about the landowner being with you. I'm sure ya'll know way more than I do about the law......LOL Thing is Troy it ain't you well see in the woods my friend. Just saying I'm a guest ain't gonna cut it with some I'm afraid . No doubt you right about the law , I knew the law . I just gave my advice

If neighbors have a problem with you I would get a baiting permit in case they through corn out and try to get you in trouble and say your baiting without permit

What this shows is Alabama has some odd (and terribly defined) hunting regs. written by idiots for the most part. get a permit fro whoever is in charge of the land and be done with it.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

That law was first written back in 1936 when the legislature understood the burden of proof was on the accuser and not on the accused.
If the landowner gave you oral permission to hunt on his land, the understanding then was that it was nobody else's business.
Now you're expected to have written proof of your innocence for just about anything you do when you go hunting.

from my understanding you need written permission from the land owner. So I would think each one.

technically you don't need a written permit at all if you are hunting as a guest of the landowner. Before any of ya'll howl, read the damn law all the way thru.....

Just send them a the permit and a stamped self addressed envelope. How I used to do it. At one time I was having to get permit from people in Oklahoma and Illinois
