Anyone ever hunted the Ocmulgee river area? I’m hunting Horse Creek WMA the week after next. The rut should be on at that time.

I hunted near Cuthbert on the west side of the state over by Eufaula for 5 years and the rut there was closer to Thanksgiving. Not familiar with this area. I'd normally say I can't imagine the rut is that much different timing, but then again when you cross the state line there at AL/GA where I hunted, the rut is different by almost 2 months!!

I hunt in Berrien County about 10 miles north of Nashville. Our rut is the 1st 2 weeks on November. You are mighty close to where Hogzilla was killed. I stopped in at Mr. Holyoaks fish hatchery and looked at the cutters and wetters from Hogzilla. Biggest set of cutters I’ve ever seen. They curled like a ram’s horns.
