I’ve got a Swiss Gear backpack that has been good for several years. Tons of pockets and compartments without being especially bulky
X2 I just got one of the 17.5” ones from target for about $69. Like Gomer said, lots of pockets and a good size. The design seems well thought out. It’s what almost everybody at our office uses.

X2 x3. Great pack. Mine currently has a laptop, charger, full size wireless keyboard, wireless track ball mouse, a notebook and my soft sided lunchbox from yesterday, and it’s only about 30% full

I bought a Badlands backpack last year . Primarily for hunting. I needed to talk to them about a minor Issue . After Several attempts to get in touch with coustomer service I finally gave up. I left my number each time. They didnt call me back. Still a great product, but service is not good anout responding.

I had good luck with them; prior to covid. Fixed zippers on a pack I bought second hand; no questions asked

50% of ones u see on plane of business types seem to be these. I’ve had one for at least 7 or 8 years. Fairly inexpensive and holds up.

Swiss gear for function. The straps on the Targus stay put and I can wear on just one shoulder just too small for all my crap. Went back to flap breifcase due to ease of going through security.

I'll mention two: Condor 3 day assault pack or a chrome industries Buran messenger bag. Chrome industries does have backpacks and smaller messengers if you want them. I use the Buran bag for something other than the office, but everything in it is all business.

My son gave me an Eagle Creek laptop backpack a couple of years ago. I travel a lot on airlines and could not be more impressed with it.
