Delta just announced that unvaccinated employees will start paying an extra $200 a month for their insurance. Another discrimination class action just waiting to be filed. Unless they are giving full physicals and adjusting premiums based on age, HBP, smoking, overweight, diabetes, family history of heart disease, cancer or stroke, you cannot legally just pick one specific thing like the vaccine and say, "If you dont get this, youre going to have to pay a higher premium than someone who does get it." I cant believe that Alexander Shahnahnah and his mass tort law buddies havent jumped on this yet. If i am not mistaken, smokers have paid higher medical and life insurance premiums for years. Age makes life insurance go up.....and I was personally denied a life insurance policy at one time for being "morbidly obese" (and am still considered MO by some standards - but im working on it :)) All that said, i am no expert in the laws that regulate this.
